Happy Hour

Six rooms in San Diego, and not one of them pours the same list. Here is what is behind each bar, and how to find out what is running today.

What happy hour is here.

Tajima is not a chain with one bar programme printed six times. Mercury has the full bar, with craft cocktails, Japanese whisky and a wine list. College Heights has the largest beer program of the seven. Convoy has the deepest izakaya list to drink alongside. Crown Point pours local craft and a matcha-forward list for anyone not drinking. East Village has six taps and the walk to Petco Park. Plaza Bonita is quick-serve inside the mall and serves no alcohol at all.

The windows are not the same either, and we are confirming them room by room rather than printing a time the door does not honor. Until they are up here, every room's number is below and they will tell you what is running today.

Six rooms, six bars.

What each one pours is confirmed. What time it starts is not, yet. Tap a number and ask.

Three iced drinks in rocks glasses standing in a row on a wooden bar against a dark wood wall: a pale one with a salt rim, a yellow one with a red-flecked salt rim, and a red one with a salt rim.
